As an Armed Security Officer, you will be tasked with the responsibility of deterring and responding to potential threats, handling emergency situations, and maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors. You will work in close coordination with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders, conducting regular patrols and surveillance of designated areas to identify any suspicious activities or potential security breaches. Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Perform thorough checks of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement in case of emergencies or security breaches.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid armed security officer license as per state regulations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or law enforcement roles preferred.
• Ability to handle firearms and maintain proficiency in their use as mandated by law.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential security issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
