    We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine - Cardiology Physician to join a well-established healthcare team in Northern California, near Concord.     Position Highlights:

    • Schedule: Full-time with a combination of scheduled clinical hours and call coverage.
    • Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient services required.
    • Patients Per Shift: Approximately 16, ensuring manageable workloads and quality patient care.
    • Call Details: Includes beeper coverage with a 20-minute response time; specific call ratios to be determined.
    • Support Staff: Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and office staff to support your practice.
    • Technology: Facility utilizes the Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation.

    Clinical Requirements:

    • Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine - Cardiology.
    • Core Skills: Proficiency in non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and TEE. Experience with nuclear cardiology and STEMI management is preferred but not required.
    • Procedures: Diagnostic invasive cardiology skills are welcome but not mandatory.
    • Privileges: Hospital and/or surgery center privileges are required; credentialing typically takes 90 days.

    Additional Details:

    • Start Date: Immediate openings available.
    • Holiday Coverage: No coverage required for major holidays, including New Years Day, July 4th, and Christmas.
    • Insurance and Travel: Malpractice insurance provided. Travel and lodging recommendations can be arranged as needed.
