    About the Opportunity

    We are actively seeking a highly motivated Hospitalist Medicine APP to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and delivering comprehensive care to hospitalized patients at our facility. This is a critical locum tenens need, requiring the support of 2 additional APPs to manage the anticipated patient volume.

    What You'll Do

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments under the supervision of a physician.
    • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to facilitate accurate diagnoses.
    • Prescribe medications and manage patient care plans effectively.
    • Provide patient education and counseling.
    • Document medical records accurately and comprehensively.
    • Communicate clearly and collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
    • Participate in rounds and discussions, contributing valuable clinical expertise to patient care decisions.

    Who You Are

    • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is required.
    • Current Tennessee licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is mandatory.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Hospital Medicine or a related specialty is preferred.
    • You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical conditions in a hospital setting.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
    • You demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, adapting to a fast-paced environment.
    • A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for making a positive impact on patient outcomes are highly valued.
