Seeking a Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our dynamic cardiovascular surgery team.- We are looking for candidates with an interest in adult cardiac surgery, with a focus on coronary artery disease and structural heart disease, including surgical and trans-catheter aortic valve replacement.- Providing care to cardiothoracic surgery patients at Hospital, working closely with advanced practice providers who streamline workflow and patient management- Starting a TAVR program with the support of 10 cardiologists.- Access to state-of-the-art equipment and operating rooms, with brand new hybrid room, 15 modern surgical suites and 3 Da Vinci Xi robots- 30-bed ICU with dedicated in-house intensivist support- Academic appointment and teaching.Our comprehensive benefits package includes: Competitive salary range $775,926 $898,241 Generous vacation and CME benefits, Potential opportunity for additional compensation, Professional society dues, credentialing expenses & hospital dues covered, Interview and relocation expenses paid, Flexible insurance package with health, dental, vision, disability and life, Retirement Plan match and contribution, Malpractice with tail coverage, and Generous provider referral bonus.Requirements: Completion of residency in General Surgery and additional fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery or completion of an Integrated-6 year or 4-3 Early Specialization cardiothoracic residency, Active IL license, and DEA.
