    Correctional Nurse Practitioner Region 4
    Location: Caldwell, OH
    Shift: Day shift (weekdays only)
    Duration: 3+ months (with possible extension)
    Hours: 40 hours/week

    Job Summary
    We are seeking a Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed in Ohio with at least 1 year of NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine. The provider will deliver full-time on-site care to an adult correctional population in a structured clinical environment.
    The schedule includes weekdays only, with no evenings, weekends, or holidays. Work shifts may be structured as four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, with some flexibility based on facility operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage and monitor patients with chronic illnesses using established clinical protocols
    • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice
    • Perform routine physical examinations and assess ongoing health status
    • Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results
    • Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as appropriate
    • Provide care for acute and emergency medical needs
    • Conduct patient rounds as required
    • Coordinate specialty referrals and review consultation reports
    • Document patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with healthcare guidelines and standards
    • Collaborate with medical leadership to support quality care initiatives and clinical decision-making

    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
    • Master s Degree in Nursing or related field
    • Minimum 1 year NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine
    • Board certification (or board-eligible status clearly noted)
    • Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider level)
    • DEA certification
