    Our client located in Sioux City, Iowa is currently looking for an experienced CRNA to fill an ongoing contract.Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialedMonday-Friday, 7a-3:30p with some weekday night call for 3p-7a. For established providers/FTE's only, providers will be working various day shifts depending on facilitys needs such as 7a-3:30p, 3p-7a or 7a-7a.1-2 nights of call per week, with the possibility of more.Weekend call is NOT required, but STRONGLY PREFERRED. Hospital-basedReason for coverage: Summer 2024 coverageEMR: CernerCRNA will be working with limited supervisionAverage # of surgical cases per day: approx 15+ out of the department (endo, cath lab, radiology, etc)Trauma level 2OR staff staffed 24/7 with RN and CST11 operating roomsAdult demographicTemp/emergency privs available. 30 days for typical processSee PD for additional informationOpen to experienced or new grads - willing to trainOpen to Locum, Locum to Perm, or PermCall Details:Typically they do not schedule new Locums for call, but there is an opportunity to do that once both parties (client and Locum) are comfortable.We have a 12 week rotation our CRNAs rotate through. Usually, the CRNA would only be on "2nd call" (meaning day shift, last to leave, then available by beeper with a 20 minute call back time) or on "1st call" (in house 3p-7a) per week. There is one week, that comes up approx. once or twice in this 12 week rotation that would be one of each in a one week time frame. New CRNA Locums will usually not do 1st call (3p-7a or 7a-7a). It will take at least a month, to 3 months, before they would be required to do in-house coverage. Simply because they need to know where all departments are and be very comfortable, not only here, but also with critical airways on their own as their next set of hands is a provider who is on call from home. Certification RequirementsNBCRNA - REQUIREDIowa License or Compact License - REQUIREDMust be available for Full Time coverage - REQUIRED (Minimum 2-3 weeks per month)Open Heart Experience - HIGHLY PREFERREDNote if provider is open to weekend call coverage - REQUIREDBLS, ACLS, PALS - REQUIREDCOVID vaccine - REQUIRED
