    Join Our Team as a Locum Physician specializing in Pathology in Robbinsdale, MN! Embark on an exciting locum tenens opportunity at North Memorial Robbinsdale Hospital, a leading hospital-based pathology lab renowned for its commitment to excellence and patient care. This role offers the chance to contribute your expertise to a vibrant clinical environment, supporting a busy hospital with approximately 40 patients daily and a Level 1 trauma designation. Required Skills: MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Valid medical license to practice in Minnesota Proven experience in surgical pathology, GI, GU, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology, hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, and blood bank procedures Proficiency in interpreting bone marrow aspirates and biopsies, rapid on-site adequacy assessments for biopsies Excellent diagnostic skills with attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a hospital setting Nice to Have Skills: Experience with CAP-accredited laboratories Prior locum or temporary physician assignments Familiarity with Epic EMR systems Additional subspecialty certifications or training in cytopathology or hematopathology Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completion of a pathology residency and fellowship in relevant subspecialties A minimum of 3-5 years of post-residency clinical experience in a hospital setting Other Requirements: Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days; timely submission of documentation is essential Willingness to work day shifts between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm with a manageable call ratio of 1:7, including blood bank call at night No responsibility for grossing specimens or frozen sections during locum coverage Eligible for licensure, certifications, and travel reimbursements as applicable This is a fantastic chance to showcase your expertise in a dynamic hospital environment, enjoy competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, paid sick time, and more.
