    Locum - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine Richmond, VA Are you an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist seeking a flexible, rewarding opportunity to support a dynamic healthcare team? We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Physician to provide expert care in Maternal Fetal Medicine at a reputable facility in Richmond, VA. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical recruitment period, ensuring high-quality care for women with complex pregnancies. If you possess the skills and enthusiasm to excel in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Required Skills: Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine Proficiency in high-risk obstetric care, including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and ultrasound Experience managing high-risk pregnancies with co-morbidities Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical records systems Excellent communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Certification in beyond basic obstetrics and gynecology Experience supervising nurse practitioners or physician assistants Knowledge of fetal and maternal co-morbidities management Ability to perform ultrasound procedures with confidence Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain licensure A minimum of 2 years experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Prior locum or healthcare staffing experience preferred but not required Other Requirements: Willingness to work during the specified open dates with flexible scheduling Credentialing process to be completed within approximately 90 days Ability to provide coverage in both outpatient and inpatient settings Coverage includes site-specific COVID-19 protocols and adherence to healthcare guidelines Reimbursements for travel, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage at IRS standard rates This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a supportive environment while enjoying competitive compensation.
