Required Skills Valid medical license to practice in Ohio Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine Proven experience in pediatric emergency care Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Ability to supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and residents Strong documentation skills with familiarity in EPIC EMR system Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations within designated timeframes Nice to Have Skills Prior experience in a Level I Pediatric Emergency Department Experience working with trauma Level I centers Skills in EKG interpretation and advanced airway management Familiarity with hospital trauma and transfer protocols Multilingual abilities or experience caring for diverse populations Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine Minimum of 2 years of ED experience, preferably in pediatric settings Current BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications Other Requirements Credentialing and background check completion within 120 days of start date Ability to start on 05/23/2026 Willingness to provide necessary documentation including license, certifications, and ID Local candidates highly preferred to facilitate quicker onboarding Travel and accommodation reimbursement available when applicable Elevate your career by making a meaningful difference in a respected pediatric hospital dedicated to exceptional patient care.
