    Position: Pediatric Hospitalist (Permanent Full-Time) We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for physicians committed to providing exceptional inpatient pediatric care in a dynamic hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care to pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in hospital rounds, emergency response, and consultative services as required. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the highest standard of patient safety and care. Document all clinical activities accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system. Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Valid medical license to practice in California. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
