What You Will Do: Provide direct mental health services, including individual and group psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, and testing. Develop, monitor, and adjust patient treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Conduct assessments for mental health and substance use disorders, referring severe cases to specialized facilities. Utilize therapeutic modalities such as psychoeducation, behavioral analysis, and creative therapies. Coordinate care with medical and mental health professionals, ensuring continuity and quality of care. Participate in training, education, and consultation activities to enhance mental health services. Respond to medical emergencies and provide telehealth services as needed, adhering to facility policies. Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA. Required Skills: Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program. Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Arizona. Minimum of one year of clinical practice at the independent level. Proficiency in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment. Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations regarding patient records. Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and respond promptly to emergencies. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in detention, correctional, or residential healthcare settings. Experience managing mental health treatment programs or therapeutic community models. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records. Preferred Education and Experience: Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution. At least one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in correctional or detention settings. Experience implementing therapeutic community models or similar programs. Other Requirements: Valid BLS for Healthcare Providers certification. Ability to pass all required background checks and security clearances. Willingness to work day shifts, including weekends and holidays, with on-call availability. Physical ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations and perform CPR if necessary. This is a full-time contract position starting on 04/01/2026, with a duration of 26 weeks and potential for extension. The hourly pay rate is $87.00, with no per diem allowance.
