Cardiology Tuomey. ASAP start, provider needs to be able to be privileged quickly (emergency process). End date is currently indefinite. Setting: Both inpatient and outpatientSchedule: Monday - Friday (8am - 5 pm)Call: 1-2/5 weeknight and weekend call Patient Volume: A max of 28 patients a day in the ambulatory setting with no hospital coverage, with a range of 5-15 to round on with an APP in acute care. 20 patients a day in the ambulatory setting with hospital coverage.Patient Population: Mainly older adults with cardiovascular issuesEMR: EPICSpecial Procedures: There is a cath lab onsite at Tuomey where diagnostic cath's can be performed if warranted. The ability to do this is not required. There is a need for someone to be able to read Echo and Nuclear Studies as well as EKG's.Requirements: Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and/or ElectrophysiologySkills preferred: Ability to read echo and nuclear studies.Prisma Health Cardiology on the Prisma Health Tuomey campus in Sumter, SC. The department has 1 full time physician who is on unexpected medical leave, and 3 full time APP's with 3 additional physicians rotating weekly. The additional support staff includes an onsite practice manager, echo/vascular technician, exercise physiologist, 2 RN's, 2 CMA's and four clerical staff. Submittal Instructions Include up-to-date CV and COI (if COI is available at the time) during submission along with Qualivis cover page Please note flu shots cannot be declined, no exceptions Once the online Echo application link has been sent to the candidate, they must complete within 48 hours of receipt.
