An academic-affiliated Medical Center in southern New Hampshire is adding a Medical Director of Acute Care Psychiatric Services. They are a multi-specialty community practice with 240 physicians and associate providers . About the opportunity: Collegial and community-centered practice. As the Medical Director of Acute Care Psychiatric Services, you will work with the Chair of Psychiatry to build our acute care psychiatry services. Provide psychiatric consultations to the ED and inpatient medical units and provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services. Work in coordination and provide MAT psychiatric services to patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health issues. Collaborating with an RN and clinical team, you will coordinate client care and assist with insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and caseload management.In addition, you will supervise psychiatric advanced practice providers in these areas.
