HOSPITALIST

PRACTICE
Hospital Employed position and Independent Contractor structure combined
One hospitalist job working 7 on 7 off (Days), second practice is rounding at LTAC 8 weeks per year (Days)
7 on 7 off at 220 Bed Hospital, 12 hour shifts
Work an additional week every sixth week at busy LTAC and earn additional $250K/yr ($4,400 per day).
The two jobs combined equal $2,400 per day
Have nocturnists - Day work only
Group of 6 Hospitalists that rotate at LTAC
When at hospital avg 15-20 patients per day
When at modern LTAC do 1-3 admissions per day
Must be comfortable with procedures, but rarely will need them at LTAC
Compensation of $320K+ at hospital plus $250K+ at LTAC
Specialty support
Full benefits including malpractice, health, etc.
Sign-on and relocation (up to $35K)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
BE/BC in Internal Medicine
Does not qualify for H/J sponsorships
