Job Description Job Description People Ready Skilled Trades is hiring Marine Joiners for a short-term project in Seattle. Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience including berthing's, heads, galley, furniture, lagging & minor electrical fixture installations. Candidates must also be US Citizen and be able to pass background check for access to Vigor shipyard. Project is expected to wrap up on 5/11. Pay is $30-35 for locals and $30 + $250 per diem for qualified travelers- DOE.Apply Today!RequirementsReading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand requirementsMeasuring, cutting and shaping wood, plywood and other materials according to measurementsConstructing wooden structures such as frames, floors, and wallsBuilding staircases, doors, windows, and furniture from wood and other materialsInstalling completed products, such as doors, window frames, and staircasesRepairing and restoring damaged furniture and structuresInspecting structures and fixtures for any necessary repairs or replacementsCandidates will be working 12 hours/day 7 days a week.The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
