    Who We're Looking For (Position Overview): As the Solution Train Engineer (STE), your day will focus on orchestrating execution across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to ensure the Solution Train delivers integrated, high-quality capabilities aligned to mission priorities. You are the chief facilitator and execution leader of the Solution Train responsible for flow, transparency, and relentless delivery of value. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): * Solution Train Coordination & Flow Management:
    Partner closely with Solution Management, the Solution Train Architect, and portfolio stakeholders to align execution with solution intent and strategic priorities. Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies across ARTs using metrics such as flow, predictability, and milestone achievement. Identify systemic impediments affecting multiple ARTs and actively drive resolution, escalating when necessary to protect delivery outcomes. * Facilitating Solution Train Events:
    Plan, facilitate, and continuously improve Solution Train-level ceremonies, including: Pre-PI Planning and PI Planning Solution, demos, inspect & adapt events, ensure ARTs are effectively coordinated during PI execution, with clear alignment on features, milestones, and integration points. Foster collaboration between ART RTEs to manage cross-team and cross-ART dependencies proactively. * Coaching & Execution Support:
    Coach ART RTEs, Scrum Masters, and leaders on Lean-Agile execution, flow optimization, and SAFe roles and responsibilities at scale. Reinforce disciplined SAFe execution calling out gaps, anti-patterns, or inconsistencies that impede solution delivery. Collaborate with the Solution Train Architect to ensure architectural intent and execution remain synchronized. What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements): * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics discipline * Secret Clearance Required * SAFe RTE and SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) required * 8+ years of professional experience in operations research while assisting in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective us of money, materials, equipment, and people. * Multiple ARTs delivering integrated, mission-ready solutions on a predictable cadence. * Clear visibility into progress, risks, and dependencies at all times. * Reduced friction between teams and trains, with smoother integration and fewer surprises. * A Solution Train that operates as a cohesive, high-performing system, reliably delivering outcomes that matter $100,000 - $130,000 a year We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
