    Operations Compliance Specialist I We are currently seeking an Operations Compliance Specialist in Vandalia, Ohio Are you ready to maximize your analytical and critical-thinking skills? We may have the position you are seeking! As an Operations Compliance Specialist I, you will support the auditing and assessment processes to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR/DFAR) and internal procedures. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn and apply internal audit processes, assist with data reviews, and document the outcomes of audits. Responsibilities:
    • Assist in conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of records, and efficiency of operations.
    • Review and analyze data to identify deficiencies or non-compliance with FAR/DFAR and internal procedures.
    • Document audit results and prepare detailed reports for management review.
    • Support the implementation of corrective actions to address identified compliance issues.
    • Assist with maintaining and updating audit procedures and documentation.
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information for audits. Essential Functions:
    • Ability to work on a computer for the majority of the work shift.
    • Hand/finger dexterity for data entry and document handling.
    • Ability to travel occasionally as required.
    • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
    • Ability to read detailed compliance documents, regulations, and computer screens.
    • Ability to review and analyze reports and documentation accurately.
    • Ability to navigate office environments and potentially other facilities for compliance audits or meetings.
    • Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for site visits or other work-related travel if necessary.
    • Ability to make informed decisions based on compliance analysis and research.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in using compliance software, databases, and other relevant tools.
    • Ability to stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies. Basic Qualifications: (Must have)     
    • Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
    • 0-2 years or relevant experience.
    • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
    • Basic understanding of FAR/DFAR.
    • Basic analytical skills.
    • Exposure to audit procedures and techniques.
    Preferred Qualifications: • Internship experience in a compliance or audit role.
    • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.
    • In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Ability to stay informed about changes in regulations and ensure the organization remains compliant.
