Interviews, investigates and documents all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy./liliMakes lost and found detailed descriptions of people and incidents./liliEnforces all company policies and procedures./liliMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies/li/ulh3What You Will Need/h3ulliMust be 21 years of age or older./liliHigh school graduate or equivalent is required/liliTwo years experience in a position with direct guest contact required/liliPrefer individual with two years police, military, or casino security experience/liliPrior experience in a position with direct guest contact is preferred./liliAbility to manage several tasks at once/liliMust possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs/liliMust be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), First Aid CPR certifications/liliMust be able to work any day of the week and any shift/liliMust present a well-groomed appearance./liliMust undergo eight (8) hours of ASP (baton) training/liliMust be able to prepare effective written reports/liliMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team/liliAdditional Requirements:/liliMust be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in heat in excess of 115 degrees, or cold as low as 10 degrees./liliMust be able to physically restrain individuals when a condition of arrest exists./liliMust be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations and be able to make rational decisions when handling guest and employee issues./liliMust be able to work independently./liliMust be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs./liliMust be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds. Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds./liliMust be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons. Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports./liliThe Security Officer must be able to read, write, speak and understand English./liliMust be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust./liliMust pass the physical and written testing of the Western Division Security Academy (Controlled Force, Defensive Tactics, Legal Issues, Handcuffing, Tactical Communications, Use of Force, Report Writing, Searching Subjects, Emergency Response, Ethics, and Expandable Baton) within the first ninety days of employment./liliMust re-certify, between years 2 and 3, through the Western Division Security Academy, and must pass all physical, mental and environmental demands as required./li/ulh3About Us/h3pFor over 30 years weve set the standard now you can too.
