    About the Job The Network Engineer IV will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN/WAN environments while collaborating with senior engineers on network design and optimization. Location Colorado Springs, CO Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel. The candidate may be required to support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. The Work You'll Do In this role the candidate will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN/WAN environments while collaborating with senior engineers on network design and optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong networking fundamentals and a hands-on approach to supporting production environments. * Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco and Juniper Networks. * Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity, latency, and packet loss issues. * Implement and support core networking technologies including VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and basic network security controls. * Troubleshoot network incidents across LAN/WAN environments, performing root cause analysis and documenting resolutions. * Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support network changes, upgrades, and infrastructure projects. * Any other required tasks by the program. What You'll Bring * Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or Master's Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience * Active Secret Clearance required to start * Active IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) required to start * Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools * Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently on large field projects * Must have Network Design & Development experience * Must know how to design, implement, and manage Network Management and Monitoring Systems * Must have extensive experience with networking protocols * Must have proven troubleshooting expertise * Must have experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure * Must have experience leading projects and training individuals on technologies * Must have experience developing KPIs and tracking other metrics and creating report * Must have managerial and leadership experience Preferred * Top Secret Clearance * CCNP or JNCIP Certification * Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria Experience with network automation using Ansible * Understand standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation effort * Prior C2BMC experience Salary Range: $120,000 - $163,000 Our Approach At SecureStrux, we are committed to core values that guide the way we work with one another and our clients.
