The Leadworker serves as a division leader and positive role model by utilizing specialized clerical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of division practices to contribute to the District's mission, vision, and values. This position requires excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and delegate responsibilities when appropriate. This position provides excellent customer service, staff training, and operational support responsibilities. The Leadworker performs highly advanced case processing in a timely manner and excels at managing competing responsibilities in a high-performance environment.

This position is assigned to the Public Safety Facility but may assist at the Hennepin County Government Center depending on business needs. The core hours for this position are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, but may vary depending on the assignment and operational needs. This position works on-site with occasional flexibility to work remotely, which may change depending on business needs.
Salary Range
The expected starting salary for external candidates is at least $27.50 per hour and may be higher, depending on qualifications. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for State of Minnesota employee benefits.
