Summary
This position performs routine patrols, writes incident reports, responds to non-emergency and emergency calls throughout the entire campus and as requested by security supervision. Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities(35%) - Conducts continuous random patrols, utilizing the patrol vehicle, bicycle, or foot patrol (30%) - Responds to all calls received from the public, hospital staff, and the security dispatcher (15%) - Monitors and pages all fire codes, as received on the fire monitor system located in security dispatch. (10%) - Escorts patients to In Patient Mental Health, or other areas of the facility, as requested by staff (i.e. doctor, nurse). (10%) - Responds to hospital emergency overhead pages as determined by security dispatch.
