Job Description Job Description We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Flagger I – Traffic Control to join our Construction Division (CFN CX). In this role, you will help maintain safe and efficient traffic flow around active construction and fiber installation work zones. This position is essential to protecting both crews and the public while ensuring projects operate smoothly and safely.The ideal candidate is alert, dependable, physically capable, and able to communicate clearly in fast-paced outdoor environments.Compensation$20.00-$22.00/hourFull-time scheduleDirect HireKey ResponsibilitiesDirect vehicular and pedestrian traffic using hand signals, signs, barricades, and other traffic control devicesSet up, adjust, and remove traffic control equipment according to site requirementsMonitor active work zones to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazardsCoordinate with field crews and supervisors to support safe traffic movement throughout the projectProperly maintain and use all required safety gear and traffic control equipmentFollow all company safety standards and proceduresDemonstrate professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and integrity on every job siteQualificationsMinimum of 6 months of traffic control or related field experienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to stand for extended periods, lift and move equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsBasic understanding of traffic control procedures and job site safety protocolsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong communication and situational awareness skillsAbility to remain calm and focused under pressureCommitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
