You will be the Traffic Administrator (Level 2) for the Traffic team. Our team is responsible for supporting Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) production and sustainment through efficient traffic operations. What You Will Be Doing As the Traffic Administrator (Level 2) you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing carrier routes, shipping documentation, and freight billing processes that enable timely delivery of military and commercial cargo. Basic Qualifications: - Experience in booking and routing of commercial and/ or military transportation. - Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access Experience - Experience with the following modes of transportation for domestic shipping: small package (ground and air), less-than-truckload, full-truckload, and/or flatbed/specialized. - Experience creating carrier shipping documentation including Bills of Lading Desired Skills: -Experience working with customs for import and/or export -AAS degree or Bachelors degree. -IATA shipping regulations for dangerous goods. -Prior knowledge and experience with DOT and IATA shipping regulations for dangerous goods. -Knowledge of TMS - transportation management system. -Ability to monitor and analyze optimal transportation methods to maximize freight optimization.
