Security Officer

C+C Apartment Management LLC is recognized as an industry leader in management and real estate operations. Our team manages the day-to-day operations of over 23,000 residential dwelling units across approximately 400 multi-family buildings throughout the New York Tri-state area. The C+C portfolio contains market rate, mixed market rate, affordable and full tax credit/affordable properties. C+C offers a full breadth of management services to improve and enhance a property's revenue, cost control measures, maintenance, financial reporting, and resident relations.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Primary point of customer service for all security related issues with residents
• Responds to all major / minor incidents
• Performs vertical and perimeter patrols
• Monitors all cameras on site.
• Monitors contracted security officer's performance
• Supervises / work with contracted security officer
• Documents all incidents on security reports
• Sign off on contracted security officers' reports
• Distributes letters and flyers to residents
• Assists with eviction
• Conducts building inspection and report all violations
• Gathers intelligence for S/D, ASM and local law enforcement
• Assists PD / FD / EMS
• Accounts for all security equipment
• Responds to court for testimony
• Makes proper notification to SD / ASD of all matter of importance
• Monitor and carry department radio
• Maintains security booth and all logs
• Conducts parking lot inspection
• Controls vehicle traffic onto property / record all visitors in logbook

Minimum Experience Required:

• 3 years' experience in maintenance and/or construction is ideal

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Some knowledge of CCTV
