    Security Officer

    C+C Apartment Management LLC is recognized as an industry leader in management and real estate operations. Our team manages the day-to-day operations of over 23,000 residential dwelling units across approximately 400 multi-family buildings throughout the New York Tri-state area. The C+C portfolio contains market rate, mixed market rate, affordable and full tax credit/affordable properties. Our mission is to provide exceptional property management services that meet the diverse needs of our various constituents, including our residents, the local community, government and financing agencies, and the owners of the properties. C+C offers a full breadth of management services to improve and enhance a property's revenue, cost control measures, maintenance, financial reporting, and resident relations.

    Areas of Responsibility:

    • Primary point of customer service for all security related issues with residents
    • Responds to all major / minor incidents
    • Performs vertical and perimeter patrols
    • Monitors all cameras on site.
    • Monitors contracted security officer's performance
    • Supervises / work with contracted security officer
    • Documents all incidents on security reports
    • Sign off on contracted security officers' reports
    • Distributes letters and flyers to residents
    • Assists with eviction
    • Conducts building inspection and report all violations
    • Gathers intelligence for S/D, ASM and local law enforcement
    • Assists PD / FD / EMS
    • Accounts for all security equipment
    • Responds to court for testimony
    • Makes proper notification to SD / ASD of all matter of importance
    • Monitor and carry department radio
    • Maintains security booth and all logs
    • Conducts parking lot inspection
    • Controls vehicle traffic onto property / record all visitors in logbook

    Minimum Experience Required:

    • 3 years' experience in maintenance and/or construction is ideal

    Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Some knowledge of CCTV
