Include developing and implementing Information Protection (IP) policy and procedure; coordinating the identification, implementation, and assessment of the common information protection controls which includes ensuring employees are provisioned the necessary access to effectively execute their duties; evaluate and recommends measures for department operations to maintain required levels of information protection; review information systems security procedures; provide system documentation and user support to ensure the continuity and compliance of department business operations; evaluates real or suspected events within the agency; develops agency policies, standards, and procedures for evaluating and referring the investigation to other qualified entities, including law enforcement and; providing resolution recommendations.
