Job Details

Allstate Security is seeking professional Unarmed Event Security Officers to support concerts, live events, and special venues throughout Los Angeles. This is an on-call, as-needed position, with shifts based on event schedules and client needs. Event Officers will assist with crowd management, access control, and event operations, providing security support during event load-in and load-out activities. This role requires strong customer service skills, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional security presence at events
• Assist with crowd control and guest direction
• Conduct bag checks and access control screening
• Support loading and unloading operations as needed
• Act as VIP escorts when required
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report concerns immediately
• Follow all event post orders and safety protocols
• Work closely with event coordinators and security teams

Schedule

On-call / As needed

Shifts vary based on event schedules (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Uniform Requirement (Strict)

• Black suit
• White dress shirt
• Black tie
• Black dress shoes

Required Qualifications

• Must possess an active BSIS Guard Card
• Must have flexible availability for events
• Must be professional and well-groomed
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Multilingual is a plus

Work Environment

This position involves working at concerts, festivals, and large-scale events. Officers should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working outdoors when required, and adapting to changing schedules.

Travel is required.
