    Traffic Control Technician

    What is the role of the Traffic Control Division? Our Traffic Control Division exists to work cooperatively with other team members, customers, and the general public facilitating lane closures, stop and go traffic and flagging stations.

    What is a Traffic Control Technician? This person assists in directing and regulating the movement of vehicular traffic around work performed on our projects. The TC Technician reports to a Foreman that sets up a plan for each job.

    What you will get to do:

    • Responsible for monitoring and reacting to real-time traffic flow
    • Work under the guidance of the Traffic Control Manager, monitoring traffic operations and identifying incidents
    • Direct vehicles to alternate routes or lanes as appropriate
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures

    Requirements

    Who you are:

    • You have great communication skills
    • You have a driver's license
    • Ability to deal effectively/tactfully with all individuals while working
    • You are someone that wants an opportunity to learn and grow in the traffic control and construction industry
    • You value showing up to work every day and being on time
    • Must be able to lift 40lbs
    • Must be 21 years old
