With over 6 football fields worth of selling floor, 60,000 to 80,000 shoppers a week, onsite bars, restaurants, and large and small events in a mall-like setting, the Jungle is a huge enterprise that requires a keen, watchful eye at all times. With state-of-the-art equipment and support from store management and law enforcement, our Loss Prevention team works tirelessly to ensure that Jungle Jim's is a safe place for consumers of all kinds to shop for groceries, adventure through our aisles of international foods, and experience our events and festivals. Job Duties

• Assist with reducing the loss of inventory, time, and assets.
• Maintain a high degree of integrity, honesty, and professionalism in carrying out all responsibilities.
• Address shoplifters professionally.
• Work the floor alongside staff to set an example, promote a positive environment, and stay in touch with employees and customers.
• Supervise day-to-day operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Some experience with retail loss prevention or asset protection.
• Engage in standing/walking 6-8 hours at a time.
• Schedule may entail nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Must be able to travel between both stores.
• Must pass a required criminal background check.

Preferred Skills

• Two or three professional references preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer, math, and data entry skills.
• Basic filing and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient with Google Drive and Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of perishables, product rotation, and safe food handling practices.
