    Job Description Job Description Ready for an Outdoor Adventure? Join Minconsult's 2026 Exploration Season!Apply to ->> hiring@minconsult.caRotation & Logistics:Rotation: 28 days on / 7–14 days off.Accommodations: Provided in a shared, remote camp environment.Travel: Flights are covered from the point of hire.Work Schedule: Expect long hours with consistent project work in extreme outdoor conditions.Job Duties:Site Preparation: Clearing land, digging, and stacking materials for pad building.Vegetation Management: Slashing and removing identified hazard trees to ensure a safe work zone.Aviation Support: Assisting with helicopter operations, including rigging and managing loads.Equipment Maintenance: Safely operating and maintaining hand tools and chainsaws.Requirements:Physical Fitness: Must be capable of heavy labor and working long days in tough conditions.Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to the Safety Acts & Regulations , specifically regarding PPE, chainsaw use, and forestry operations.Experience: Construction or physically demanding outdoor experience is preferred.Certifications: Valid driver's license is required; First Aid and chainsaw safety tickets (e.g., BC Faller and Bucking Endorsement) are highly valued.Safety & Protocol: Minconsult prides itself on safety. As a core member of the field team, you must:Always conduct work in a safe and responsible manner.Participate in all safety meetings and helicopter briefings.Adhere to all Emergency Response Plans and the right to refuse unsafe work.Report any accidents or near-miss concerns immediately.To apply: Send your resume and a summary of certifications to: hiring@minconsult.ca
