Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Hospital Rounds in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon08:00 PM - 08:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 08:00 AMSun08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directional support, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence in a medical environment.Support emergency and after-hours protocols by reporting hazards, assisting with crowd management, and helping to coordinate response efforts during medical and/or facility-related events. Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and badge experience are preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:
