    As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Sarasota, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:
    • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking credentials when required, and helping to direct visitors and vendors according to site protocols.Document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy-related issues accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:
      • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.Be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.Be at least 21 years of age.Be able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital environment.Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:
