Position Description
The Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center is a mental health facility located between Midland and Odessa. The Center will provide inpatient and outpatient mental health services to help individuals of all ages overcome their challenges. The TTUHSC Psychiatry Department is seeking a Psychologist in Midland to provide care at the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center.
Major/Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively with a team of providers (e.g., nurses, social workers, marriage and family therapists, licensed professional counselors, psychiatrists) to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with a range of behavioral and emotional difficulties, as well as medical conditions.
- Provide and supervise evidence-based assessment and intervention services to patients and families.
- Engage in clinical teaching and program development.
Occasional Duties
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program,
- Completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship,
- Completion of or in process of completing a postdoctoral fellowship.
- Licensed or license-eligible in Texas prior to the start of the position.
