    As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.     Position Type: Part Time

    Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    DayTimeSat09:15 AM - 05:15 PMSun11:45 AM - 05:15 PM

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying unusual conditions.
    • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and following site protocols for access control and/or screening functions.
    • Maintain readiness to perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with site instructions, Allied Universal guidelines, and applicable laws, regulations, and post orders.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
    • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
    • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
