Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and help follow visitor, employee, and/or delivery processing procedures, including verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Support incident response efforts by preparing detailed activity logs and/or reports, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and helping to deter policy violations and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a California weapons permit with 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
