As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed, driving patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support entry screening activities while maintaining a professional armed presence in accordance with post orders and local regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and/or emergency responders regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
