MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Planning and execution of all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s intercollegiate Rugby program’s competing as a member of the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) and US Rugby. The employee must be committed to promoting academic and athletic achievement and personal growth of student-athletes in a way that is fully integrated with the mission and vision of Cal Maritime athletics Recruiting All phases of preparation for competition, including conducting practices, program development, and establishment of a strong academic support environment. Creating practice and game schedules Monitor and promote the academic and personal growth of student-athletes. Experience with alumni relations and creating fundraising. Provide oversight for set up and breakdown of competition fields. Coordinates with Sports Information Director regarding schedules rosters and other social media assistance. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: One-year successful Rugby coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level Must possess and maintain a valid license to drive in the State of California. SALARY COMPENSATION : Hiring salary is anticipated at $6,227 per month ($2,075.66/ Monthly-0.33FTE) commensurate with education and experience. The Department of Engineering Technology offers the Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Technology and Facilities Engineering Technology degrees and provides instructional support to other degree and professional training programs on campus.
