    Job Description

    Northwest Community Services is recruiting for a Support Care Professional, to be a part of a highly effective team that

    supports over 500 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. NWCS is a

    state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 139 individuals receiving 24/7 residential

    services in their own homes across four counties. This position will be domiciled in Marshall with the Community

    Integration/Employment program.

    The Support Care Professional must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills,

    possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft

    Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.

    This position will be responsible with implementing, maintaining, and monitoring habilitation and behavioral programs

    for individuals with developmental disabilities. This will include overseeing and supervising the direct care staff who

    work with the individuals. May also include meeting objectives outlined in the BSP/IPs, reviews for these individuals,

    ensuring waiver guidelines are met, ensuring the CMS rule is adhered to; supervision of direct care staff and is

    responsible to take calls and assist with coverage as needed.

    High School Diploma/GED

    Valid Driver License

    Must be at least 18 years old

    Schedule:

    Scheduled to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off, with on-call/flexibility as needed.
