    Job Description

    Job Location: This position will be located at Scruggs Complex - 4720 Scruggs Station Rd., Jefferson City, MO

We are seeking individuals who are committed to high quality work and enjoy a challenging and fast-pasted team environment. The successful candidate can provide outstanding customer service to state agencies

    Available shifts:

    First Shift: Mon - Friday: 4:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

    Second Shift: Mon - Friday: 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

    Third Shift: Sunday: 12:00 p.m. (noon) - 5:00 p.m.

    This description may not include all the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this classification.

    • Assist with State motor pool dispatching:
      • Monitor State motor pool reservations dashboard:
        • Vehicles to be dispatched.
        • Vehicles to be returned.
      • Print trip tickets for approved reservations.
      • Dispatch vehicle when driver arrives:
        • Verify driver name, hand out vehicle packet including key and fuel card.
      • Check-in returning vehicle:
        • Verify packet returned including keys and fuel card.
        • Record ending mileage, return date/time.
        • Record driver comments/feedback to indicate need to clean and/or service the vehicle.
    • Inform the State motor pool coordinator of any customer concerns or inquiries.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Basic computer knowledge.
    • Be able to work independently under general direction.

    Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
