Meet Michael and Corey Hurwitz of Careers In Government in Mid-Wilshire
Michael and Corey started their career in the private sector and together they co-own one of the nation’s largest Job Board and Career Resource Center for State and Local Government. Their clients include employers in Los Angeles, such as LA Metro, LAX, County of Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Culver City, as well as the largest counties and cities in California and beyond.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our proudest moment was recently speaking to both sets of parents about our success and seeing the pride in their eyes and the overwhelming enthusiasm for the business we have developed. We took over Careers In Government from Corey’s parents and they have been instrumental in helping us grow the business and have been helping us from day 1. I personally cannot thank Corey’s mother, Inge, enough. She has been a cheerleader and “consultant” from the very beginning and helped us with a smooth transition when we took over the business.
