    Under the direction of the Denton County GIS Manager, the GIS Technician assists with Denton County GIS projects by creating, updating, and maintaining point, line, and polygon data. The GIS Technician must work collaboratively as a team member assisting with general GIS services and managing tasks effectively.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Requires proficiency with Esri’s ArcGIS suite of software to edit and create GIS data, including ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.

    The candidate must have experience communicating cartographic information through writing or map exhibits.

    Must not have any Class B misdemeanor or higher convictions or deferred adjudications.

    Supplemental Information

    The anticipated work schedule is 20 to 40 hours/week.
