Summary
ResponsibilitiesProvide Safety and Security Services for the 18th Judicial District Courthouses, Sedgwick County physical properties, employees, and citizens.Perform Access Control and Screening Functions for the 18th Judicial District Courthouse.Greet and direct the public through the metal detectors.Instruct the public on the procedure for checking personal property, x‑raying bags, brief cases, purses, and coats.Operate metal detectors and x‑ray screening equipment.Visually and physically screen the public's property.Perform thorough and complete interior and exterior patrols of assigned county complexes/properties to deter illegal activities.Notify a commissioned police officer of activities of criminal nature.QualificationsSix months experience in law enforcement, security services, customer service, or a related field.High school diploma or equivalent.Valid US driver's license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance.Two years in a military, law enforcement, fire, or security related field (preferred).Training and certificates related to military, law enforcement, fire, or security related topics (preferred).#J-18808-Ljbffr
