Summary
Job Skills / Requirements- Unarmed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.
- Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.
- Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.
- Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
- Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
- Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
- High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.
- Associates Degree
- Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an Unarmed security officer
- Must have a current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit
- knowledgeable of the security industry
- Must have a customer service driven mindset
- Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.
