    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Full-Time Opportunity at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI Henry Ford Hospital, a nationally recognized Level I trauma center, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our premier anesthesiology team. This full-time position offers a fulfilling clinical environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care, professional development, and work-life balance. Position Overview: As a CRNA at Henry Ford Hospital, you will be integral to the perioperative team, providing safe and effective anesthesia care for a diverse range of inpatient surgical procedures. This role emphasizes collaborative, patient-centered care within a supportive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Administer anesthesia for a broad spectrum of inpatient surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and provide patient education, addressing concerns and explaining anesthesia processes. Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to develop and implement anesthesia care plans. Monitor patients meticulously throughout surgical procedures, responding promptly to any emergencies. Document all aspects of anesthesia management accurately and comprehensively within the Epic EMR system. Participate actively in quality improvement programs and patient safety initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care. Maintain adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and professional standards. Work Schedule: Day shifts only, with no weekend or on-call duties, enabling better work-life balance and predictable scheduling. Qualifications: Current certification as a CRNA with no lapse in certification. Valid NBCRNA certification. Certification in ACLS and BLS. Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred; applicants should not be recent graduates or seeking to re-certify after certification lapses. Candidates must be able to commute within one hour of the hospital location. Open to H1B and J1 visa holders. Additional Requirements: Not accepting candidates for locum or locum-to-perm positions. Not suitable for candidates seeking different shift schedules or long-distance commuting.
