    Badging Specialist

    Chenega Sentinel 360 is seeking a Badging Specialist to support visitor control and credentialing operations at a government facility in Albuquerque, NM. This role is responsible for issuing, controlling, and maintaining DOE security badges while ensuring compliance with federal identity, access, and security requirements **This position is contingent upon contract award** Responsibilities include processing and issuing permanent and temporary DOE security badges in accordance with site procedures, verifying identity, clearance status, and access authorization prior to credential issuance, operating computerized badging and access control systems to encode and manage credentials, processing classified and unclassified visit requests and maintaining associated documentation, performing HSPD-12 badging functions, including identity verification and credential activation, accounting for, securing, recovering, and destroying badges and badging materials as required, maintaining accurate records and files related to badge issuance, visits, and access actions, providing courteous, professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, and other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications include a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED), active DOE Q Clearance, minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative, security, visitor control, or credentialing/badging functions, experience working with access control systems, visitor management systems, or identification/badging systems, and the ability to work in a secure environment and properly handle sensitive and controlled information.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include strong written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures.

    Physical Demands include sitting and talking or hearing, using repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers, walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, and close vision.
