    Position Description:
    DUTIES:

    Inspect facilities for compliance with regulations.

    Provide education to the public and regulated entities.

    Collect samples for lab analysis.

    Prepare documents used in regulatory enforcement.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Inspect facilities for compliance with regulations.
    Job Prerequisites:
    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
    Ability to collect and record data, perform environmental health and sanitation inspections in a variety of settings to determine compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and communicate effectively. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
    Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Ohio Department of Health as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist or Environmental Health Specialist in Training. Graduated from an accredited college or university with at least a baccalaureate degree, including at least forty-five quarter hours or thirty semester hours of science.
    Compensation:
    PAY: $22.61 - $29.40
    SALARY: REHS $49,004.80 - $63,689.60 REHSIT $47,028.80 - $61,152.00
