TL Cox is a Senior Consultant with The Persimmon Group with a background in program/project management, procurement, process re-engineering, organizational transformation, and classification/compensation. He has previously served the roles of Chief Information Officer (CIO), Director of Consulting Services, Program Manager, and Systems Administrator/Analyst for various public and private organizations including The City of Tulsa, The Waters Consulting Group, Inc., and The Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce. As CIO for the City of Tulsa, TL managed 142 employees and an approximately $22M budget. While leading the Information Technology Department, TL stabilized a number of enterprise projects; procured and negotiated contracts for replacement CRM and IVR solutions; and reduced the department’s operating budget by approximately $1.5M in slightly over one fiscal year. TL is actively involved in local government and has spoken before such organizations as the Alliance for Innovation, Louisiana Municipal Association, Texas Municipal Human Resources Association, National League of Cities, and Texas Association of Regional Councils.
