Selection Process The selection process will consist of one or more of the following steps: a rating of relevant education and experience (100%) . Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Prefer bachelor's degree in water resources or environmental field. • Working knowledge of GIS software, cloud-based systems, and basic office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, video conferencing, and asset management tracking. • Well versed in water resource and stormwater management including BMP design, construction, maintenance, inspection, and operation. • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal laws, City Ordinances and City Codes as they apply to work of area to which assigned. • Considerable knowledge of civil engineering design principles, computer operations, surveying and technical issues related to construction, maintenance and repair work. • Knowledge of modern supervisory techniques and experience supervising staff. • Strong technical knowledge in the area assigned. • Good knowledge of and ability to perform mathematical calculations. • Ability to plan and carry out detailed assignments and investigations, and to put together civil engineering and statistical data. • Strong written and verbal skills and ability to produce reports • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
