The Construction Inspector II checks, evaluates, and inspects workmanship and materials on a variety of public works or utility construction projects for conformance with plans, specifications and departmental regulations. Work Performed Typical duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Review, evaluate, and check plans and specifications for various assigned projects including; all types of public works projects, water projects, private development projects, utility projects, etc.; communicate, engage, and work closely with upper level staff to ensure conformance of project plans and specifications.
