Processes and compares fingerprints found at crime scenes and coordinates with representatives of other law enforcement agencies in the identification of suspects through comparison of fingerprints and in the use of Automated Finger Print Identification Systems (AFIS) and the CAL-ID AFIS system and Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS). Prepares court exhibits to depict crime scenes, including latent print comparison charts. Prepares detailed reports of crime scene investigation and of the forensic analysis performed. Resource Specialist, Interpretive Programming The Resource Specialist assigned to OC Parks will be responsible for independently developing and delivering engaging audience-centered interpretive programming, exhibits, public events, and media for a park facility, manage day-to-day park operations, and participate in natural resource management activities. This position will require the knowledge and skills to work within an OC Parks facility with increased ecological diversity, acreage, complexity, attendance, development, visitor impact, resource management responsibilities, community involvement, stakeholders, and resource value. NATURE OF WORK: Position performs responsible skilled field work involving the planning, programming, installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV/electronic surveillance equipment. Work requires the ability to operate and work a bucket truck at an elevated height, as well as considerable knowledge in the area of precision electronic, mechanical, and electrical diagnosis, testing, programming, installation, repair, and maintenance of CCTVs. Work is performed under the supervision of the sworn Crime Center Supervisor. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate required and 3 months experience in programming, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment required , preferably CCTVs. A valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must pass a police background check which includes a polygraph. May be required to be on call for afterhours outages, work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as assigned.
