Upon retirement you are entitled to a monthly retirement benefit based on your years of credited service, age, and average compensation during your last three (3) years of service (“final compensation”). A temporary, part-time employee works an average 20 hours but not more than 29 hours per week, for a maximum of 1000 hours per fiscal year.
